Experience

• Instructed  xx students of all age groups in aquatics safety and swimming techniques.

• Led aqua arthritis classes for xx students.

• Recognized and responded to aquatic facility water and land emergencies, including the proper use of emergency equipment such as a rescue tube, rescue board, back board, CPR mask, AED and emergency oxygen, among other essential first responder equipment.

• Performed first aid and CPR/AED skills according to American Red Cross standards. 

• Developed plan for facility OSHA compliance, maintained facility safety to include water chemistry testing.

• Maintained safety in pool, waterfront, and beach facilities through preventive lifeguarding and rule enforcement.  

• Completed all required paperwork, including daily, weekly and monthly logs, as well as accident and incident emergency reports. 

• Participated in aquatic staff mandatory physical trainings and maintains all required skills to successfully complete the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program.
